Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion have released diss tracks about each other. The latest celebrity feud is between Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj, and hip-hop experts are already weighing in on who won — so far. It all started on Friday when Megan dissed Nicki in her new single, "Hiss," prompting Nicki to reply with her own track. Although Megan didn't name anyone while taking a bevy of pointed jabs in the lyrics, many fans believed one line targeted Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty. "I don't think Megan thee Stallion is in the same breath as Nicki Minaj," Budden said.

Tesla Insurance, launched in 2019 by the electric-car company, has promised policyholders “vastly better” service than rivals, as Tesla chief Elon Musk put it in April 2022. “What do they have, three people answering phone calls?”Complaints about Tesla Insurance are drawing scrutiny from state regulators and the plaintiffs’ bar. And there’s no way to know exactly how many have been made against Tesla Insurance and how its record compares with competitors’. That fall, Tesla launched InsureMyTesla, a new insurance offering for U.S. Tesla owners, in partnership with Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. Lester F. "The town is basically one giant Airbnb," David Francis, an Oklahoma state official, told the Times. Unpaved roads plague rental owners, as does unreliable water infrastructure, which is essential to maintain the hot tubs that keep guests happy. Some cabin owners who bought properties recently, when prices were high, also worry that there aren't enough traveler bookings to make their investments worthwhile. It's enough of a gap, though, to deflate some new rental owners' dreams. "I hope I don't have to sell the cabin," Winegar said.

Following Monday's trade, Jim Cramer's Charitable Trust will own 870 shares of DD, increasing its weighting to 2.15% from 1.78%. To be fair, the stock deserved to be dinged because it was a mixed quarter from the chemical and material manufacturer. While Q3 beat estimates on EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization), the company lowered its full-year outlook below Street expectations, mostly to reflect some ongoing softness in consumer electronics demand and slower water demand in China. The situation is not yet fully resolved, and it’s unclear just how many banks were affected, although Bank of America, Chase and US Bank have confirmed they are among them. That would include an overdraft fee from your bank if a payment was made from your account before an expected deposit showed up. But if it’s not, contact your bank and let them know the situation needs to be corrected. You also want to avoid a late fee or penalty interest from a creditor if your payment got delayed. “The key is providing verifiable documentation that the delay was not your fault.”At the moment it’s not clear whether or how every affected bank is notifying their customers.

It got me thinking about the money I have stashed away in my current high-yield savings account. Here's why I'm sticking to my current savings account. With Ally, I can enjoy the fact that there are no monthly account fees, nor a minimum balance requirement. That's more money than I would ever feel comfortable keeping in a short-term savings account, let alone locked for a long stretch. Sure, rates are a big part of deciding which high-yield savings account to go with.

Earlier this year, I moved some funds from my high-yield savings account to several CDs. To earn the most of my savings and take advantage of all the best CD rates, I decided to employ the CD ladder strategy. Laddering CDs gives you the best of both worldsA CD ladder is when you divide up savings into different CDs, each at varying term lengths. I'm happier with the interest rates that come with early withdrawal penaltiesWhen I was researching CDs, I looked into several options, such as no-penalty CDs. While there are other ways I can earn more on cash sitting in my account, I've opted for a CD ladder.

For the first time in over three years, federal student loans will begin accruing interest on Sept. 1. That's because on the SAVE plan, you won't be charged for interest that exceeds your minimum monthly payment. Individuals who earn $32,800 a year or less qualify for a $0 monthly payment, so any interest that accrues will not be charged. Similarly, if your monthly payment is $30, but $50 in interest accrues in a month, you won't be charged the additional $20. Borrowers who don't qualify for a $0 monthly payment can still save around $1,000 a year on the SAVE plan, according to the Department of Education.

CNN —Judges are being forced into an unprecedented and perilous spot in the middle of an already tempestuous presidential campaign because of rising acrimony over the criminal trials of Donald Trump. Indeed, Trump and his allies are already framing the four indictments against him as an example of election interference. Smith’s prosecutors implicitly admitted this in arguing in the federal election subversion case that there was an overriding national interest in avoiding unnecessary delays – given the identity of the accused. Thorny questions judges must addressThe fateful decisions that judges will be called on to make go far beyond when the trials take place. For instance, one of his lawyers argued that Smith’s election subversion case cannot be fairly tried in Washington, where Trump won only 5% of the vote.

Markets hit the skids on Wednesday after Fitch Ratings downgraded its rating on U.S. debt to AA+ on Tuesday evening — one notch below the agency's highest rating of AAA. "The repeated debt-limit political standoffs and last-minute resolutions have eroded confidence in fiscal management," the rating firm said in a press release. In historical context, though, this week's downgrade is less of a big deal than it seems, experts say. the rating agency dinged Uncle Sam's once perfect credit rating. CNBC's Jim Cramer said he thinks tech giants Netflix and Tesla will be only temporarily dinged by their stocks' drops on Thursday and will rebound. He said Netflix is transforming its business model into a streaming service with a cheaper subscription plan that includes advertisements. According to Cramer, Netflix has shown that it can make more money with consumers using its ad-tier plan than its pricier traditional subscription. He said he thinks this plan will enable Netflix to raise its subscription prices while also making money on ads. Although the project is still in its infancy, Cramer thinks it will be a game-changer for Netflix's profitability.
